Members will be able to download all public documents and will be able to request those documents which are only available to paid up Members. All documents are listed on the "Documents" page.
Has SBHOA got your correct details?
Have you moved, changed your home telephone, or mobile number? Perhaps you have changed your email address, or your name. Please ensure that The Association is in possession of your up to date details. This is essential for two reasons:
1) In the event of any damage to your hut, we will need the correct details to contact you.
2) Newsletters and other information may be sent by mail or email, so in order not to miss out please keep SBHOA up to date.
Please download the "change of personal details form" on the documents page in order to notify SBHOA of any changes to your details.
If you have moved please inform Southend-on-Sea Borough Council so they have your correct details and will be able to send your rent and rate demands to the correct address. Also, if you have a gas meter, please inform your gas supplier of your new address.

Have you considered joining the Committee? The Committee meets five times a year plus the AGM. If you would like to volunteer, but are not sure, you may come along to one of the meetings to see what is involved. We are looking for active Members who will take a working role. Please use the "Contact Us" link if you feel you could help.
SBHOA is run by Beach Hut Owners, to look after the best interests of Beach Hut Owners, so it is in all owners interests to ensure that The Association continues to survive. This can only be achieved if we have an active Committee, so come along, do not be shy, what are you waiting for? Use that form now and volunteer. We look forward to hearing from you.
Do you have a lease that permits you to let your hut?
SBHOA receives numerous enquiries throughout the year for huts that are available to rent on a weekly or monthly basis. Under the Terms of the leases, only those owners holding a specific lease, permitting the owner to let the hut, may do so. If you are a Member of SBHOA and hold the necessary lease, and would like to let your hut, please contact SBHOA via the "Contact Us" page.
New BHA Security Sign
Do you have a new sign fitted? If not, and you would like one to be fitted to your hut, please use the "Contact Us" link. Please advise whether you wish to collect the sign from a Committee Member or would like it delivered to your hut or home, if you wish to fit the sign yourself. Alternatively, if you would like the sign fitted, please advise whether you wish the sign to be fitted to the rear, left or right side as you face the hut, or the front of the hut, if you want two, you may have them. The signs and fitting are free.
